Actually a nice day, unfortunately the fisherman's hut is closed due to Corona but if we are allowed it is always worth a trip

Very nice place for a nice weekend walk. And now everything is frozen over in winter and the paths around the lakes invite you to sled

Great location, in the middle of the forest! Near the Darmbach. Great food and a large outdoor area. Great opportunities for hiking and unwinding! Nice excursion possibility!

Ideal for walking, fishing, cycling, jogging ... Good fish dishes in the still existing restaurant, which will hopefully open again soon

Well-made, simple dishes at reasonable prices. Ambience in the dining room a bit gloomy, very nice on the terrace. Friendly service, beautiful location ... recommendable.

You can eat well, there is a large terrace, partly covered, several ponds you can walk around the ponds for the children sankaste with toys and the forest all around. Just beautiful

Basically a great location with good food and good service. Occasionally the friendliness of the waitresses still has room for improvement. I would actually give it 4 stars, but on my last visit I was very annoyed. There were seven of us and we wanted to pay. Since no one came after about 20 minutes, I sent my friends off and said I would pay the whole table together. Unfortunately, the waitress couldn't understand what was being consumed at our table and didn't believe what I was saying. After another 20 minutes of discussion, I paid way too much because I wasn't interested in further discussions. So tip: Make a note of exactly what everyone had and all stay closed at the table until you have all paid. Even if everything is to be paid for together ...

Times are difficult for all of us. Unfortunately, the local staff wasn't able to do anything to make our time more pleasant. Communication was difficult and marked by unnecessary hardship. Surely the workforce was just having a bad day. Because of the food you should only set out if you want to take the current revival of the 1980s to the culinary level. A nice place with a lot of potential. We'll try again in five years.

Great ambience in the middle of the forest. People still cook properly here and you can taste it.

We only made a small stop for a "cold drink" during a bike trip; but is very beautiful and is a popular destination. Since almost all tables were reserved for lunch for 12:00 noon, you can assume that it should be good too!

Friendly service, delicious matje fillet and great views in nature. Super destination. Easy to reach from the Vivarium with a pram.

Deep in the woods, ideal for a teddy bear's picnic

The fisherman's hut is a nice destination, unfortunately not at peak times. Imagine that it is Sunday lunchtime, sunshine, 24 degrees ... The fisherman's hut is occupied to the last place, we have already assumed that it takes longer, but that it takes almost an hour for our drinks to arrive really slow. I would have liked a little more communication from the staff or more operations. The food was really generous and delicious, but for two main courses (schnitzel + salad plate with fish) and three drinks are 35.00 euros already a proud price. We will definitely come back on occasion - but then definitely not on a holiday or weekend.

Lovely surroundings and great looking good. 8 bucks for two coffees though - a bit highly priced.

Wonderful relaxed atmosphere, very friendly service, clear menu and delicious food. Praise to the cook. And you can go for a walk there before and after dinner because it is in the middle of the forest.
